Career Counseling

Throughout their involvement with us, participants work individually with employment specialists to guide them through the program and assist in the job search process. The focus is on career exploration, job readiness, and targeting training and job opportunities. Employment specialists will help people identify their career goals and create a plan to overcome barriers and make those goals a reality.

Computer Services

Participants attend basic computer classes and self-paced training sessions, and get plenty of hands-on experience in our Computer Lab. High speed Internet is available as well as Windows, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint) and numerous tutorials.

Resume Creation, Application Process and Cover Letters

We provide job application completion tips, and create cover letters, follow-up thank you letters and targeted, skills-focused resumes.

Job Development, and Training Funding Possibilities

We generate job leads and community support for our participants. We can often help with training costs. We also have a limited number of openings each year for paid Work Experience and On-the-Job training.
