The YWCA Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services Program provides:
  • 24 hour crisis line for victims of domestic and sexual violence
  • Temporary safe secure shelter for victims fleeing family violence, staffed 24 hours a day
  • Information and referral
  • Support groups as follows; childcare is provided at no cost for support groups held at the YWCA
  • “Sisters of Survival”, Monday 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
  • domestic violence at the YWCA “Turning Point”
  • domestic violence education and support, Thursday 2P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Montana Rescue Mission Women
    and Family Shelter
  • “Hope” self esteem/self care for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, Thursday 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the
    YWCA
  • "Through the Eyes of a Child” for children who have witnessed domestic violence; Monday 6P.M. to 8 P.M.
  • Self esteem issues for children who have witnessed domestic violence; Thursday 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
  • Prevention education and awareness to area schools, service organizations and agencies
  • Hospital and law enforcement accompaniment
  • Assistance with filing for an Order of Protection
