Individual Employment Plan

We offer some great assessment tools and help participants put together an Individual Employment Plan.  We help people discover:

  • Personality type and careers that mesh
  • Effectiveness of decision-making skills
  • Optimal job search strategies
  • Qualities in jobs that would be professionally satisfying

Career Counseling

Employment specialists guide participants through the program and assist in the job search process with focus on:

  • Career exploration, job readiness, and targeting training opportunities
  • Identifying career goals
  • Eliminating barriers to make those goals a reality

Computer Services

Participants attend basic computer classes and self-paced training sessions.

  • Hands-on experience in our Computer Lab
  • High-speed Internet
  • Windows, Microsoft Office Software and numerous tutorials

Resume Creation and Application Process

We provide job application completion tips and help participants create cover letters, follow-up thank you letters and targeted, skills-focused resumes.

Job Development and Training Funding Possibilities

We generate job leads and community support for our participants.  We can often help with training costs.  We also have a limited number of openings each year for paid Work Experience and On-the-Job training.
