Emergency Services
1 in 3 women in our region are victims of violence and often their children also experience the abuse.
YWCA Billings offers Emergency Services at no cost to victims of domestic, human trafficking or sexual violence.

Secure Emergency Shelter
The only secure, 24-hour, 365 days-per-year domestic violence shelter in an 18,512 square mile area, Gateway provides thousands of nights of protection annually to hundreds of women and children including those who are disadvantaged, under-served, and/or American Indian. While in our safe harbor, women participate in programs to help them obtain housing and employment while achieving emotional strength and learning how to break away from the cycles of violence and poverty. YWCA Billings is committed to providing equal opportunity and access to anyone seeking safety and support provided by its programs.
24-Hour Help Lines
Callers receive information, guidance and support from trained counselors and learn about YWCA’s Transitional Services programs and other community agencies that can help.
Hospital Accompaniment
YWCA advocates accompany victims of sexual violence, including children, to Billings Clinic for forensic evidence collection exams, 24-hours per day, seven-days a week.
