
Housing Services
YWCA’s on-site housing support is provided for victims of domestic violence and others who qualify for YWCA services. This program offers help in securing affordable emergency and permanent housing for sheltered and homeless domestic violence survivors,tenant and financial education, and other services related to obtaining and maintaining housing.
Gateway Vista
YWCA Billings offers 24 affordable apartments on its campus to low-income individuals and families, with preference given to Gateway Shelter residents and other survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Rents at the Gateway Vista Apartments are based on a percentage of area median income. Residents have access to YWCA services at no cost, including financial, legal, and clinical counseling; education and skills training; and job placement. Residents receive the help needed to set themselves on the path to safe and sustainable futures. Residents must be pre-qualified and meet income limits.

Gateway Vista is ideally located on the nicely landscaped YWCA grounds in mid-town Billings, Montana. The YWCA campus is close to City of Billings MET Transit bus stops and within proximity to essential services and job opportunities.



Eligibility
Gateway Vista is a low-income housing tax credit property approved by Montana Board of Housing. Residents of Gateway Vista must income qualify. Rents are based on a percentage of area median income. Preference is given to Gateway Shelter residents and other survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault,and human trafficking. All residents of Gateway Vista participate in some level of Resident Services.
