Housing Services

YWCA’s on-site housing support is provided for victims of domestic violence and others who qualify for YWCA services. This program offers help in securing affordable emergency and permanent housing for sheltered and homeless domestic violence survivors, tenant and financial education, and other services related to obtaining and maintaining housing.

Gateway Vista

YWCA Billings offers 24 affordable apartments on its campus to low-income individuals and families, with preference given to Gateway Shelter residents and other survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Rents at the Gateway Vista Apartments are based on a percentage of area median income. Residents have access to YWCA services at no cost, including financial, legal, and clinical counseling; education and skills training; and job placement. Residents receive the help needed to set themselves on the path to safe and sustainable futures. Residents must be pre-qualified and meet income limits.
