The Zonta Club of Billings is comprised of executives and professionals dedicated to the advancement of women through education, economic stability, legal and legislative equality, health and wellness.
This passionate and hard-working group of women are honored for their organization’s long-standing history of providing service to the Billings community through creating awareness of gender-based violence, grants for community agencies, scholarships for students, and volunteer activities for several non-profit organizations, including YWCA Billings.
Zonta makes a notable difference by creating visibility of domestic violence and human trafficking through projects such as the Red Sand Project, #MeTooMontana, Anti-Trafficking Forums, and 16 Days of Activism against Domestic Violence, in which members of Zonta Club have donated goods to the YWCA’s Gateway Shelter.
Zonta Club of Billings also presented a joint Zonta/YWCA project to Zonta International which was funded as a 100-year Anniversary Grant. These funds and Zonta volunteers assist victims of violence when they move into YWCA’s Gateway Vista Housing—by providing soft goods, moral support and move-in assistance.
YWCA is grateful to Zonta for its diligence in advancing matters that correspond to YWCA’s Mission to end abuse of women and children!
