‘Twas a Season of Sharing for YWCA Billings families and for those who put magic in the holidays. The children were surprised with needed and wished for gifts and their mothers shed tears of joy. Here’s what some of them said:
“I just wanted to tell you thank you so much I have been crying all day. I think this is the nicest thing anybody has ever done for us. You all truly made our Christmas. Thank you so much. I have had the hardest time getting in the holiday spirit because I couldn’t afford much. I am just emotional but also so grateful.”
– First Montana Title adopted this family
“THANK YOU SOOO SOOO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! YWCA and especially you honestly were like the ray of light in such a dark place for me. One where I felt nobody cared. It really made a difference in my life!”
– Red Tree CPAs adopted this family
“I thought it would just be a few things from the dollar store! I cannot believe that someone provided all of this for us. Thank you so much!”
– Cheryl and Delvin Wade adopted this family
“My best friend just sent me a video of all the gifts that she picked up for the boys and I am literally so grateful and overwhelmed. I started crying right in the middle of the grocery store. Thank you for all that you do!”
– Kelsea Schreiner and her family adopted this family
The Season of Sharing was responsible for Santa’s sleigh being full of cases or even carloads of gifts to many who otherwise had little or nothing.
Now that the calendar has turned to 2021, the happiness of the recent holidays has not dimmed. Thank you to all who make this world a brighter place for all of us.
We invite you to continue to share the spirt of this season all year long. Generous donors will help the YWCA continue to provide shelter and support to these families and to assist those who will turn to us throughout this new year.
