Our staff spotlight showcases the dedicated team members that are a crucial part of YWCA Billings and the work we do.
Meet Emergency Services Coordinator, Nancy Old Elk!
Nancy joined YWCA Billings in 2014 as our first Rural Advocate. She did it all – answered the help line, provided case management, and coordinated safe shelter in local hotels. In 2021, Nancy was instrumental in the opening of YWCA’s Big Horn County Shelter in Hardin, MT. She is truly the reason we can offer services in Big Horn County!
Recently, she was promoted to Emergency Services Coordinator, which means she now oversees all Emergency Services, which includes managing the two shelters and the 24-hour help and text lines. We are beyond grateful for Nancy and her passion to safe and change lives!
